Open Invitation!!! Sat. October 15th Yakima CrossFit will be hosting "Amazing Grace" to support Mammograms In Action. MIA is a 501(c)3 non-profit breast cancer organization with the mission to provide funding for qualified low-income and uninsured women and men who need screening and/or diagnostic procedures in the prevention of breast cancer. Thank you to all the athletes who participated and the USMC Bravo Co. 4th Tank Batallion for making this such a great event!!  As a team, we raised over $1000 for the Wounded Warrior Project and the Marine Corps Ball Fund!  Great athletes from all around the state and even a couple from the east coast gave their all to honor the warriors who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.  LCpl. Joseph Jackson, a fallen Marine from White Swan, was honored with a special dedication ceremony and the unveiling of the "Hero WOD" "Jackson" that was used for the final event in the competition.  The athletes honored LCpl Jackson by giving their all in the final WOD.  The support for one another and sportsmanship displayed by each and every competitor was so inspirational that bonds were built that will carry through until the much anticipated 2nd Annual WODAPALOOZA competition already in the planning stages for next year!! Again thank you to all who made this event possible, we look forward to partnering with the Marine Corps again next year :)  Check out the WODAPALOOZA FB group page to see all the great pics and videos from the event and follow it to get more information about next year's event!!
